The location was magnificent and unbeatable, and the free parking was available in the area. I had a good, sized and functional Japanese, style room with a mini, fridge and hot water kettle when I arrived, which was great. the food was tasty, and the staff was very helpful.

Thank you very much guys for a VERY ENJOYABLE stay in September 2011. The units are airy, good-sized with a futon as well as free wi-fi. The price is just right - £ 18793.

Hotel staff are extremely nice. Even gave me free unbrella when it rained.
Be aware that subway & trains stop running at midnight in Tokyo. If you are late from city center, you'll need to pay for expensive cab ride.

Just stayed one night in this new modern ryokan. Very pleasant. Great Tokyo location for those who like to explore streets, local temples, etc. Working access to Ueno Park and easy access to Narita via the Keisei Line.

Modern hotel overall, is has good service and peaceful location next to a traditional Tokyo shopping street. The employees are all very very helpful and patient. The rooms here are functional and beautifully maintained with mini-fridge & hot water kettle. There is an electric kettle and a refrigerator...

Ryokan style small hotel in a very interesting and easialy accessible area of Tokyo. The hosts are exceptional, and speak English. Very good breakfasts which were very affordable, and good laundry facilities- a real bonus when travelling. Many thoughtful extras , e.g. advice about local restaurants, sites, and umbrellas for guests' use.
Our room did not smell of cigarette smoke, but the hallways and common areas did. We were there during a very cold, wet few days, which would make airing these areas difficult.

We especially liked the location in a more residential area of Tokyo, near local stores and food vendors. We also liked the free access to the internet, plus the bus loop stop was across the street from the front door of the Annex.
Based on what we thought we were getting, we have no criticisms. It offered more than we expected.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
